Houghton, MI. - The Finlandia University women's cross country team took home a third place finish at the Upper Peninsula Cross Country Opener on Friday afternoon at the Michigan Tech Trails in Houghton, Michigan. The four team field was comprised of NCAA D2 foes Northern Michigan and Michigan Tech along with D3 rival Northland College. Michigan Tech finished first with a team score of 28 followed by NMU with a 29, Finlandia with a 93, and Northland with a 102.
